Work Authorization

I cannot begin any work on your vehicle until this authorization is signed. It protects both of us and keeps things clear.

- Authorization to work & payment: By signing below, you authorize Carlos Auto Tech to perform the described work on your vehicle at your property, and you agree to pay the agreed amount in full once the job is complete.
- Keep pets, children & elderly clear of the work area: For everyone's safety, please make sure pets, kids, and elderly family members stay away from the vehicle and tools while work is in progress. Accidents can happen around lifted vehicles, sharp tools, and moving parts.
- Driveway may get minor drips or dust: For oil changes some oil may drip onto the driveway. For brake work there will be brake dust and small drops of brake lube or grease. This is normal for driveway service. I lay down protection where possible, but cannot guarantee a 100% spotless surface.
- Disposal of old parts & waste: I clean up after myself and pick up my messes. However, disposal of used oil, oil filters, scrap metal, old brake parts, and other old parts is the customer's responsibility. I will bag them and leave them with you unless we arrange otherwise.
- Parts & labor warranty: 30-day warranty on workmanship. Parts carry only the manufacturer's warranty. Customer-supplied parts are installed without any warranty on the part or related labor — if a customer-supplied part fails, re-doing the job is billable.
- Pre-existing conditions & limitation of liability: I am not responsible for pre-existing damage, rust, or seized fasteners that break during normal removal. To the maximum extent allowed by NJ law, total liability is limited to the amount paid for this job. Full details in our Terms of Service.
- Vehicle ownership: By signing, you confirm you are the legal owner of the vehicle (or have the owner's permission) and that you have the right to allow work at the service address.
