Terms of Service

1. Services

We provide mobile, driveway-based light automotive maintenance and repair services within approximately 25 minutes of Irvington, NJ (Essex County). We are not a licensed inspection station, dealership, or body shop. We do not perform structural, transmission rebuild, engine rebuild, airbag, or emissions-certification work.

2. Authorization Required

No work will begin on any vehicle until the Customer signs the digital Work Authorization, including acknowledgement of all safety and property disclaimers. Verbal approval is not sufficient.

3. Estimates & Pricing

Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. Final price may change if additional parts, labor, or unexpected conditions are discovered. We will notify you and obtain approval before performing any work beyond the original quote.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is due in full upon completion of the job.
• Accepted methods: card (Stripe), Cash App ($JeanCValentin), cash, or secure payment link.
• A deposit may be required for jobs requiring ordered parts. Deposits for custom-ordered parts are non-refundable once parts are purchased.
• Returned payments, chargebacks, or unpaid balances over 7 days may incur a $35 fee plus 1.5% monthly interest, and may be referred to collections.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows

Please cancel or reschedule at least 12 hours before your appointment. No-shows or same-day cancellations may be charged a $25 trip fee. If we have already arrived on-site, the full trip fee applies.

6. Parts & Warranty

• Labor warranty: 30 days on workmanship for the specific work performed.
• Parts warranty: Limited to the manufacturer's warranty on the part. We do not extend or guarantee parts beyond what the manufacturer offers.
• Customer-supplied parts: If you provide your own parts, we will install them but offer NO warranty on the part or on labor related to a defective customer-supplied part. Re-doing the job with a replacement part is billable.

7. Property & Safety

You confirm you are the vehicle's owner or have the owner's permission, and that the work location (driveway/property) is legally yours to allow service on. You agree to keep children, pets, and other persons clear of the work area. Minor oil drips, brake dust, and grease spots on driveways are normal for driveway service and are not considered damage.

8. Disposal of Old Parts

Disposal of used oil, oil filters, scrap metal, old brake parts, batteries, and other removed parts is the Customer's responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing. We will leave old parts bagged with the vehicle.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Jersey law, our total liability for any claim arising out of services provided is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the specific job in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost wages, towing, rental cars, or pre-existing vehicle conditions.

We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing wear, rust, seized fasteners that break during normal removal, or conditions not disclosed by the Customer at the time of booking.

10. Photographs

We may photograph work in progress for our records and for portfolio/marketing use. License plates, VINs, and identifying information will be blurred or removed. Tell us in writing if you do not want photos used publicly.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or municipal courts of Essex County, New Jersey. Both parties agree to first attempt good-faith resolution by phone or email before any legal action.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The version in effect on the date of your Work Authorization signature applies to that job.
